Cost and Procedure

The buying procedure in Turkey is pretty straight forward. Foreigners can buy in Turkey provided that the property is not in a military zone. The military clearance normally takes 6 to 8 weeks. You can gain all the legal information about the buying procedure in Turkey on the Turkish Embassy's website. You will pay 3% conveyancing fee plus 1.5 % as stamp duty. Your annual council tax will be 0.1%. All costs are based on the value of the property. It is not compulsory to hire a a solicitor when buying property in Turkey and we are more than capable of handling all aspects of the transaction on your behalf.
